Students, authors, CEOs, and celebrities discuss life issues, self-development, self-esteem, and much more.

I will be sharing with you the top five LinkedIn advice in 2022, and how they can improve your growth this year.

I became more intentional about my life, purpose and income after reading the fifth advice on the list.

I’m sure you can’t wait to find out.

But before that, let me tell you a brief story about my LinkedIn experience.

I created a LinkedIn account some years ago but abandoned it because it appeared too professional for my liking.

However, I somehow found my way back into the community late last year, and I was excited about the future.

I pictured myself having a thousand followers, closing more deals, helping people with valuable ideas, and influencing the younger generation of writers on the platform.

I was inspired by the success stories I saw and read daily from established users.

Unfortunately, things changed dramatically.

Inspiration turned to obsession, leading to depression and a lack of motivation.

Luckily, I overcome the emotional stress and got back on track after a lengthy break.

My return to LinkedIn has been a blessing as I have learned so much from people’s posts and experiences.

I have connected with many people who have impacted my life positively.

I have read many writing tips and attended impactful sessions, which have shaped my writing career.

There are so much more about my experience on LinkedIn.

Read the cause of my depression and how I eventually solved my ordeal in my previous post.

So, my top five linkedIn advice in 2022 are:

1. You Can’t Be Broke And Be Shy — Gabby

As an introvert trying to make things happen, this got to me deeply.

I have kept this in mind since I read it, and I am working on that aspect of life.

Shyness is an awkward feeling that occurs when you are around people.

Other words for shyness include timidity, emotional insecurity, and coyness.

Trust me, shyness and poverty are two things you don’t want in life. Unfortunately, they are closely related.

It can stop you from taking bold steps that could improve your financial status and general life.

It could prevent you from reaching out to people and speaking at events that could launch you to the next level.

Being shy might stop you from connecting with people physically, being among influential people, and promoting your brand and craft.

It will develop into fear and lack of confidence, denying you a healthy, happy, and fulfilled life.

How to overcome shyness and nervousness

  • Discover the underlying cause of shyness:

It can be hereditary, poor parental care, or physical appearance.

Detect the underlying cause and find ways to solve them.

  • Develop high self-esteem:

High Self-esteem plays a huge role in helping you overcome shyness regardless of the underlying causes.

Develop strong self-esteem by practicing a healthy lifestyle, preventing negative thoughts, and surrounding yourself with positive-minded people.

  • Self-talk yourself out of shyness:

Positive self-talk has an impact on our lives if explored accurately.

Talk to your mind, believe what you say, and act on it. You will see changes.

  • Don’t ignore social gatherings:

I know it’s tough to be among people, but don’t you think it’s time to face your fears?
